Pleated filter cartridges are more economic at lower micron ratings compared to depth filters.
Also smaller filter housings can be selected when using pleated filters.
By pleating the filter media the filter surface is significantly increased.
Because of this the filter cartridge has a very low initial pressure drop.
Pleated filter cartridges generally have a removal efficiency of 99,98%.
